Rendering Give-away

So, I have been thinking for a long time about rendering a fellow blogger’s space…I have a stack of all of your rooms… I periodically print them out, so I have no shortage of inspiration, but…let’s try something new.

Leave me a comment, with a short story of your favorite space, then email me, with a number between one and a hundred. I’ve picked a number; the closest one to mine is the winner.

Here’s one I did for my friend Albarosa; you can read the story behind this room here.

Are you kidding, Michelle!?! I'd love to have a rendering done of one of my rooms!! Wow!

So... what room? That's easy because I only have one that's completely done. Wait... it's not done, but it's more done than any other room in my house! Yikes! Anyway, that room is my kitchen. I love my kitchen! I'll love it even more when we install a window in the back wall, letting in more natural light and giving us a view of the backyard (not a pretty view right now... but one day!). I'm so happy with the transformation it's undergone in the time since we bought our house - from a very sad 1939 mess to a wonderful, warm place to prepare a meal for me and my fella!!

I'll e-mail the number I've chosen to you right now! Hopefully it's close to yours!

Thanks for this chance to own an original "Michelle Morelan"! Yippie!

What a great giveaway! I"m like Design Ties - so many rooms undone. I'll say my office which I"ve just painted a dark brown. I love the built in shelves and the new desk that I recently found. Besides our family room it's the only other room in our house with ceilings higher than 8 feet.

Now I"m off to email my number! Michele

Oh my gosh! I've been looking for something like this and I've already got the perfect spot in my master bedroom for it. I just redid our master bedroom on a budget and I love how it turned out!!
I'm emailing you right now. THanks!!

Whoops, sorry -- just as I hit Publish Your Comment, I realized I was logged on under the wrong identity. So I deleted it and I'm posting it again here under the right identity...

Wow Michelle, this is a FANTASTIC giveaway!!!! :-)

My very favourite room in our house is our purple guest bedroom. But I would love to have a rendering of our living room. I'm sure your interpretation of it would be awesome!! :-)

Thanks so much for this wonderful opportunity :-) I'll be sending you my number in a few minutes....

OK, my brain is obviously somewhere else today -- I forgot to tell you why I'm picking my living room....

It's got a sort of Old Hollywood/glam vibe that I think really defines my style. But I didn't realize it till someone mentioned that my LR reminds her of an Old Hollywood movie and looks like the perfect place to sip martinis. That was my big Ah-Ha moment!!

Also, my LR was featured on an episode of Rate My Space, which was an awesome & exciting experience :-)

Can I still enter, even if you have already done a gorgeous rendering of my front door?
My room would be my bathroom that I designed last year, because it is the best representation of my design style right now. I like the juxtaposition of the simple plaster walls and the antique Gustavian cabinet that I turned into my sink base. It's that combination of high and low that makes this room my favorite.
I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I'm not a blogger so I'm not sure if I qualify for this contest.... I am a regular reader of your blog and am in absolute awe of your work, so I'll give it a go anyway!

My favorite room is my open kitchen/living room in our new townhouse. I love open concept living! Or maybe my favorite space might be the reading nook in my master bedroom with the chairs we inherited from a family member. It is such an inviting space, my husband and I make a point to sit there and relax together on a daily basis.

E-mailing you the number now...

Cheers,
Danielle

Michelle

Michelle,
I would soooo love one of your renderings but as with most, I am "almost" there with most of my rooms. I guess I'll have to wait until the next time!
How sweet you are....but....we already knew that!
Blessings...

Like Danielle, I'm not a blogger but rather a HUGE fan of your work. I'd pick my formal living room. Probably since it's the only room in my home that always looks nice... I don't let my kids in there... LOL! Also, it was decorated by my husband and I shortly after moving in last year. Most of the furnishings were new purchases that we decided on together. It was a fun process and the room definitely reflects a compromise of our two tastes.

Thanks for this opportunity! Off to e-mail...

So beatiful! I'm a fellow renderer, it would be an honor to display your work in my home! I'm such a gianormous fan!
My favorite room -- was my master bathroom, because it was my only room of solice from the kiddos, and it has a wonderful french watercolor of children in a park that was my grandmother's, but ever since i bought an easle and set it up in my sunroom, that is the best room in the house. I'm surrounded by great light, plants, flowers from the back garden and my favorite napoleonic-bee cafe' sheers cheering me on to paint, paint, paint! OOOh, your rendering wants to live in there with me!!! Lissa
