A television is not the eyesore it used to be…I noticed recently on the Restoration Hardware website, and again with Vicente Wolf in Met Home. I see others are taking note as well- like this award winner by Alex Bjurstrom. Is TV the new art?

Very creative.
TV's, cant live without them and cannot find enough ways to hide them :)
cool for a modern home
love, love but not a cord/receptacle in sight. Can it be totally wireless?
You know, I'm not so sure how I feel about this! Part of me gets a chuckle out of the idea of turning a TV into a "painting," but on the other hand, something feels...so WRONG about it, you know?
Just discovered your blog today, by the way, and have been enjoying it.

(IN)DECOROUS TASTE
I guess if you can't hide it, you may as well make it look interesting!!
I need to figure out how to disguise a 10 foot wide screen that hubby wants to paint on the wall in our loft -- eeeek!!

Such a great way to hang TV. I blogged recently about Preston Bailey's apartment that did the same thing - influenced of course by his friend, Vincente Wolf.

What is NOT shown are the cords...where are they? I am not sure I really like this idea. I have seen it before somewhere.

Ha! That is a neat approach.
Anything would be better than the tired, default placement above the fireplace-- unless you enjoy a stiff neck with your movie watching. A flat panel TV as art though? Still a bit of a moral debate.
Hi Michelle,
I've noticed this trend in other magazines too. I love it. It adds a poetry to electronics, don't you think? Love your bio... I'm right there with you... I could talk design all day long, but my family rolls their eyes after awhile!
We need tareq from qerat to design his version. I am sure we will create something elegant and different.
