The Dance of the Sun and Moon

CIMG8894

18 x 24, Acrylic on Linen, Michelle Morelan

I love the phosphorescence and reflection of the dance of the sun and moon, off the beach near Ucluelet. It’s mystical and awe inspiring.

I love this piece. I recently got married in Ucluelet at the Black Rock Resort and was actually looking for something that reflected that time without it being in your face and tacky. Is it for sale? If so, where can I find it? Thank you!

Hi Tara, yes, for sale and it's size is ship-able.

Congrats on your wedding! I just had lunch at Black Rock a couple of weeks ago- I love it.

Now that I'm older I really appreciate having grown up there :)

The piece is $550

It's very beautiful. I can think of many types of interior spaces where this would look great.

Michele this is gorgeous. I am really into pictures of the sea it seems of late. My life must be trying to tell me something? You are very talented.
I have never been to Ucluelet, & must go!

Cheers,
Deb

Michelle,
You did not say...but is this one of YOUR works? It's gorgeous in any event. How do you say Ucluelet? By your postings it looks like a place that I would like to go!

Really beautiful, Michelle!
I hope Tara buys it as a wedding gift to herself! How perfect is that?

I think this may be my favorite piece you have painted so far. Really beautiful, Michelle.
Is there anything you can't do?!

Ahhhh, Michelle!!! This is absolutely, overwhelmingly stunning!! And having been to Ucluelet myself recently (just like Tara, we stayed at the Black Rock Resort - loved it!!), it totally reflects the sea scapes we saw and loved!

I hope Tara buys this piece from you!

BTW - the neighbourhood I re-showcased is actually near City Hall... 100 block West 10th Avenue. :-) And yes... we live in a pretty terrific place!

Beautiful piece Michelle
Love the technique. I would love to see it up close and see all the details and textures

I've used a mother of pearl acrylic, and liquid mirror, so when lit from above, you can really see the reflection.
