Cottage or Camping?

Are you a cottage or camping person? I’m off camping at the end of Aug, so I’ve been thinking about how to make it as luxurious as possible. Turns out, I’m a “set up the sister’s tent, and sleep in my SUV to keep bear safe” person. (Irrational, but real for me…) Happy camping all…don’t step in the marshmallow gick by the fire!

There is a lovely camping spot that I would love to go to - that looks more like a cabin.

Those renderings almost fooled me into thinking I'm a camping gal. I love the outdoors and I'm adventurous, but camping isn't for me...too afraid of the critters that might come to visit at night! Enjoy your getaway! I'm sure it will be fun and provide memories for years to come.

I'm definitely a cottage/cabin/motorhome Chickie... no tenting for me! Hope you're well and that you enjoy your camping trip later next month!! :-)

Wow. But at our house we avoid camping at all times.

I used to be a camper. At my "mature age" I now enjoy the luxury of warm dry blankets as opposed to a damp sleeping bag, hot/cold running water and the option to get away from the mosquitoes. And my preference is to interact with the local black bears from a distance. :-)

However, your sketches do tempt me to consider changing things up a bit when I head off to my little cabin in the Adirondacks in a week.

Have a great vacation! Make a Some-More or two for me!

Cheers,
John

Years of camping have made me appreciate cottaging even more!!!! And if I could cottage anywhere it would be in that modern cabin design of yours - love!!

Have fun!! And don't forget to pack a corkscrew. : )

Definitely cottage for me. I spend summer weekends at our cottage on a small lake in Quebec. Friends ask me to go camping with them every year, but I can't give up a cottage weekend to sleep in a tent and pee in an outhouse!

Love your renderings :-)

I love the cottage though I have to say your camping renderings are enticing.
