A recent commission has me thinking about my own engagement almost 14 years ago. Tonya got engaged on the steps of the Capitol Building…where did you make that jump of faith?
My engagement (formally), was by long distance on the phone from Miami. I flew out to meet him the next week, and we bought the ring at Costco… it couldn’t have been more romantic.
Thanks to Sarah for the referral!! And to my mom for the husband referral!!
I wish my clients many more happy years together :)

Love the theme of this post, Michelle... especially with Valentine's Day only a week away!!
Brian and I were engaged/pseudo-married in Lake Louise... a planned trip, but a ring and a promise that was completely unexpected to me! We had such a wonderful trip and created some fantastic memories!!

Very sweet Michelle...and yours shows that good things come in many different packages!

Beautiful rendering, Michelle. What a great thing... to be commissioned to commemorate such a moment. I wonder what you could do with my husband and me in front of that little chapel in Vegas? Class it up considerably, I'll bet!
Tracy...you are so funny! There's nothing classier than that!
What a lovely idea for a commission. Ours wasn't really planned; I think we were sitting in his apartment living room. A Looong time ago. -s
Wow, that's a fabulous rendering!!
Hubby proposed to me at a German restaurant called The Lindenhof. He didn't realize that you don't just walk into a jewellery store and walk out with an engagement ring five minutes later, so he bought a cheap fill-in ring and hid it in a Kinderegg :-)

That's cute Kelly...shoulda gone to Costco!!! lol
how romantic.
Hi Michelle, What an incredibly rendering! I swear you are getting better with every post! Come to California and give me lessons! :)
Great rendering! My husband proposed to me in a state park in New Hampshire over looking the ocean. It's always great to be reminded of those times in your life.
Love this rendering of the Captiol... Fay
