A Tale of Three Models

I have always loved California beach style living, which inspired me to design this wood and stucco home. I picture this home on the beach line, or at the end of a long forested road. The first is a virtual foam core model, second has materials applied, and the third is hand rendered and drawn. I think each has it’s time and place in the design process.

Hi Michelle
I love the design for this 'beach' house. I can just imagine what the view is like from the upper floor. Well done!!

Beautiful! I love all the glass, the views from inside would be amazing. That is, if people can stop staring at the house!

Glad to see you're using S/Up Michelle! I'm a great fan of it too, and I truly like your output! All of the CAD work on my blog is SUp too.
Needless to say, nothing beats your hand renderings. Look forward to seeing more of your new project, and, actually, it would be amazing if you cound find the time to document your design process. You know I love seeing the whole thing unfold step by step, or rather, sketch by sketch!
