Original Oils

How fun to get out the paints again…very relaxing!

This is one of two canvases I am working on at the moment- it’s 30”x48’. What way would you hang it?

This is exactly my style of painting...Love it! In my house, I would hang it like in the first picture so the lines are horizontal.

DesignTies said...: I bet you had a lot of fun creating that painting :-) I think I would hang it vertically. But like Patricia said, it would really depend on where you hang it.

Thanks for your comment about the fabrics for my "virtual" chairs. All the fabrics from Designer Fabrics should still be available. They remove samples from their web site when there's about 10 yards of a fabric left.

I love the Barbara Barry fabrics, but I'm afraid to see how much they cost!!

Interiors, Renderings, Original Art

I'm Michelle, a Vancouver Island based Interior Designer looking to nature for inspiration, with a passion for interiors, renderings, and painting. I work with homeowners and designers, having rendered nurseries, front doors...even the Capitol Building!

It's been a pleasure creating perspectives for framing, stationery packages, client thank you's, and unique gifts. The drawings can also be effective presentation tools, allowing designers and their clients to take a peek at the conceptual space.

Being an Interior Designer, I understand the constraints of the field, and will work with you to create timely, effective communication tools. As my Interior Design client, you benefit from drawings that give you important insight into your project.

Or...from a simple photo I can create a unique gift...I don't think the scope has ever been the same for more than one project!

Private workshops, painting and e-design projects are also keeping me busy. It's a Schematic Life, and it's my life...always changing, and that's just the way I like it!
