Over at Decorno, Leah has asked for help in designing a room at her parents that she has to move into for a while. You can get the whole story on Decorno's blog, and read the solutions of many talented designer/bloggers. This is my solution, where she keeps the wall colour, and plays with one pattern, a few textured neutrals, and pieces that allow for lotsa storage, and she can bring with her later.
This solution is sans programming, floorplans etc...so be open :)
Love it!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Sketch !
ReplyDeleteI also read the original post. Decorno's post was absolutely the funniest thing I read all season!

I wish I had the rendering talents you do! So fabulous, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI am loving your renderings - so few designers can illustrate by hand anymore, its tragic. I illustrate my books by hand and I think it gives renderings such a personal feel. I'd love to see more of your work - its lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I find a cabinet/armoire like the gorgeous black pair in your drawing?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone; the armoire is from Thomasville...the Felicity Collection
ReplyDeletei can't get enough of your illustration! brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI love your sketches! They are works of art in and of themselves.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today! I am off to check out the blog of your friend (the Color blog).
